Situation
Provence is a small village , located in the Jura-Nord Vaudois district of the canton of Vaud. The village covers 31.8 km² and has 411 inhabitants since the last population census.
The commune, located in the extreme northeast of the Jura-Nord vaudois district, on the slopes of the Jura, at an altitude of around 800 metres, overlooks a large part of Lake Neuchâtel . You can also see the lakes of Biel and Morat as well as the Alps, from the Bernese peaks to Mont Blanc.
Quick access to the A5 motorway allows you to easily reach Neuchâtel and Yverdon-les-Bains. You also have quick access to the Mauborget ski slopes in winter and beautiful walks around the village during the summer season.
