THE PROJECT
The project consists of a rectangular building that extends for three floors above ground and a basement. The architecture of the building is in "Gotthardbahn" style and its construction dates back to 1890, characterized by elegant facades that require their maintenance, enhancing the substance and the historical charm of the building.
The building is composed of multiple rental objects, weighted by a balanced mix between offices and primary housing units. These are partly oriented to the north and/or south, as well as some are oriented on the side of Via Giuseppe Motta and others instead on the important track system of the railway station.
In the basement there are the storage rooms/cellars for the various residential and administrative units and the related technical rooms necessary for the proper functioning of the building. The shared laundry is located in the central body of the building, more precisely in the area of the stairs on the 1st upper floor. The entrance to the building as far as the apartments are concerned is located on the north-east facade oriented towards Via G. Motta, as is the mail reception system.
